Our story began with a shared vision: to harness cutting-edge technology to forge a cleaner, more sustainable future.
Roots of collaboration
Snapfast, established in 1985, has long been a trailblazer in sustainable lighting solutions. Our commitment to environmental responsibility led us to explore innovative off-grid lighting products. Meanwhile, Grinergy, based in South Korea, was making waves with its state-of-the-art LTO battery, a technological marvel that outshone traditional batteries in safety, performance, and versatility.
Recognising the immense potential of Grinergy’s technology, we at Snapfast saw an opportunity that extended far beyond lighting. The LTO battery could revolutionise countless industries, and we were eager to be part of that transformation.
A vision for the future
In December 2023, Snapfast welcomed Grinergy’s CEO, Scott Bang, and International Business Development Manager, BJ Kim, to the UK. Together, we charted a course for a collaborative future, culminating in the formation of TITANVOLT.
Our ambitious roadmap outlined key milestones:
- Introducing next-generation battery technology to the UK market
- Establishing assembly facilities within Snapfast for off-grid lighting
- Transitioning Snapfast to Net Zero products and services
- Developing battery solutions for diverse industry sectors
- Establishing joint venture production in the UK
- Proving the technology in the UK and European markets
- Replacing diesel generator dependency with a reliable, sustainable source
- Influencing legislative change for battery safety standards
- Establishing a dedicated UK factory producing Potere cells
- Collaborating on the next generation of Potere batteries
- Creating employment opportunities in a growing industry
- Expanding supply chain opportunities
We quickly gained momentum, securing a partnership with a UK manufacturer to produce Grinergy products for residential and commercial energy storage. This accelerated our progress, demonstrating the power of our combined expertise and shared commitment.

Our comprehensive approach addresses supply chain carbon footprint, raw materials, recyclability, longevity, application range, all-weather performance, and more.
